## What Is Canvas

Canvas is the built-in productivity suite. It provides a rich text editor, spreadsheet tool, and code editor that work alongside your AI conversations.

## Canvas Types

- **Document:** Rich text editor with formatting, headings, lists, and embedded content. Great for notes, reports, and articles.

- **Spreadsheet:** Grid-based data editor with formulas, sorting, and basic charting.

- **Code Editor:** Syntax-highlighted editor supporting 20+ languages. Includes AI autocomplete and inline explanations.

## Using Canvas with AI

While a Canvas is open, you can ask the AI to edit, improve, or generate content directly into it.

> Canvas files are saved automatically and synced across devices. You can access them from the sidebar under **My Canvases**.
