What Is Canvas

Canvas is the built-in productivity suite. It provides a rich text editor, spreadsheet tool, and code editor that work alongside your AI conversations.

Canvas Types

Document

Rich text editor with formatting, headings, lists, and embedded content. Great for notes, reports, and articles.

Spreadsheet

Grid-based data editor with formulas, sorting, and basic charting.

Code Editor

Syntax-highlighted editor supporting 20+ languages. Includes AI autocomplete and inline explanations.

Using Canvas with AI

While a Canvas is open, you can ask the AI to edit, improve, or generate content directly into it.

Canvas files are saved automatically and synced across devices. You can access them from the sidebar under My Canvases.
