Roles & Permissions

Configure Exorion permission levels for your staff — completely independent from Discord roles.

Exorion uses its own permission system, not Discord’s native role permissions. Having Administrator on Discord does not automatically grant access to Exorion features.

Permission Levels

Exorion has four built-in permission levels. Each level inherits all permissions from the levels below it:

LevelAccessTypical Role
ViewerCan view dashboard statistics and audit logs. Cannot change any settings.Trial Moderator
ModeratorCan use moderation commands (warn, mute, ban). Can view infraction history.Moderator
AdminFull dashboard access. Can configure Auto Moderation, Protection, and module settings.Head Admin
OwnerEverything above, plus: manage Exorion permissions, manage billing, delete server data.Server Owner

Assigning Permissions

1
Open Permissions Panel
Navigate to Dashboard → Roles & Permissions from the sidebar.
2
Select a Discord Role
Choose the Discord role you want to assign an Exorion permission level to.
3
Set Permission Level
Assign Viewer, Moderator, Admin, or Owner to the selected role.
4
Save Changes
Click Save. Members with that Discord role will now have the corresponding Exorion access.

Custom Permission Overrides

For granular control, you can create custom overrides that grant or revoke specific features for a role. For example, you might give Moderators access to Auto Moderation settings but not Protection settings.

The server owner in Discord is always treated as Owner-level in Exorion, regardless of configured permissions. This cannot be overridden.

Staff Activity Logging

Every action taken through the dashboard or bot commands is logged with the user, timestamp, and details. View the full audit trail under Dashboard → Audit Log.
