Restrict @everyone, @here, and mass user mentions to prevent ping abuse.
What It Monitors
| Mention Type | What Gets Blocked |
|---|
| @everyone / @here | Blocks usage for anyone without the configured bypass role. |
| Mass User Mentions | Triggers when a single message mentions more than the allowed number of unique users. |
| Mass Role Mentions | Triggers when a message mentions multiple roles simultaneously. |
Configuration
Navigate to Dashboard → Protection → Ping Protection to set thresholds and choose which mention types are restricted.
Set User Mention Limit
Define the maximum number of unique @user mentions allowed per message (default: 5).
Set Role Mention Limit
Define the maximum number of @role mentions allowed per message (default: 3).
Configure Bypass Roles
Specify which roles (e.g. Admin, Moderator) can bypass ping restrictions.
Choose Action
Select what happens when limits are exceeded: delete, warn, timeout, or ban.
Even with bypass roles configured, mass mentions are still logged to the audit trail for accountability.
