What It Monitors

Mention TypeWhat Gets Blocked
@everyone / @hereBlocks usage for anyone without the configured bypass role.
Mass User MentionsTriggers when a single message mentions more than the allowed number of unique users.
Mass Role MentionsTriggers when a message mentions multiple roles simultaneously.

Configuration

Navigate to Dashboard → Protection → Ping Protection to set thresholds and choose which mention types are restricted.

Set User Mention Limit
Define the maximum number of unique @user mentions allowed per message (default: 5).

Set Role Mention Limit
Define the maximum number of @role mentions allowed per message (default: 3).

Configure Bypass Roles
Specify which roles (e.g. Admin, Moderator) can bypass ping restrictions.

Choose Action
Select what happens when limits are exceeded: delete, warn, timeout, or ban.
Even with bypass roles configured, mass mentions are still logged to the audit trail for accountability.
