What Is Watchguard

Watchguard is Exorion’s server-wide threat intelligence system. It continuously monitors server activity and automatically triggers protective responses when it detects coordinated attacks, bot raids, or suspicious patterns.

Detection Capabilities

Raid Detection

Identifies coordinated join floods — multiple new accounts joining within a short window.

Bot Account Detection

Flags accounts with patterns typical of bot accounts: new creation date, no avatar, default username.

Suspicious Activity

Monitors for unusual permission changes, channel modifications, or role escalations.

DM Spam Campaigns

Detects when newly joined accounts mass-DM existing members with spam or scam content.

Automated Lockdown

When a threat is confirmed, Watchguard can automatically:

Enable Verification Gate
Requires all new members to pass a CAPTCHA or verification step before gaining access.

Restrict Messaging
Temporarily restricts messaging in all channels for accounts below a configured age threshold.

Auto-Ban Raiders
Automatically bans accounts matching the raid profile.

Alert Staff
Sends a detailed alert to your designated staff channel with a full incident report.
Watchguard lockdowns are temporary and auto-resolve after the configured cooldown period. You can also manually end a lockdown from the dashboard at any time.
